03 How The Work Is Done
The working assumption is that any blood or bodily fluid is potentially infectious, regardless of what is known about the person involved. That governs the protective equipment, the containment, the cleaning agents and the disposal route.
Fluids travel under flooring, into subfloor seams, down through floor systems and into wall cavities. The visible area is the starting point for the investigation, not the boundary of the work.
Contaminated materials are handled as regulated medical waste and disposed of through the appropriate channel, with documentation. This is not something that goes in a skip.
